Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting call at Walnut Hill and Wickersham Rd on February 5 at about 9:55 p.m.
Officers found a vehicle crashed with a man and woman shot inside the car. The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The woman died at the scene.

Just hours later, at about 1:25 a.m., DPD responded to another shooting call at 9300 Skillman St.
Officers found 21-year-old Kenneth Jernigan shot on the ground in a parking lot. They also found a woman shot in the arm inside an apartment nearby. Jernigan died at the scene. The woman was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
This remains an ongoing investigation.
