Feeding the Cat, Incorrectly, Several Times Over is a new production from the all-women stage program, Echo Theatre. The play, written by Shyama Nithiananda and directed by Katie Ibrahim will be hosted by the Bath House Cultural Center from February 9 through February 23.
Echo Theatre offered an intriguing plot description on their website.
“Jo and Jen live parallel lives: They study medicine. They pay the rent. They fight with their partners. And they keep big secrets. When Jo’s decision to keep a patient’s secret backfires, she is forced to reckon with the responsibility she owes to partners, strangers, and enemies alike.”
Viewers are warned that the play’s content contains language, blood, adult themes, depictions of medical procedures, and discussions of domestic violence.
