The White Rock Lake Foundation was a winner in the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Business of the Year Awards.
The foundation won the Chairman’s Award, which is given to a company that has demonstrated support by contributing to the community and the Chamber of Commerce. A luncheon for the winners is taking place on Dec. 5 at Lakehill Preparatory School Alice and Erle Nye Family Environmental Science Center on the Roger L. Perry Campus. Tickets have sold out.
The White Rock Lake Foundation works to maintain and improve White Rock Lake. They work with the City of Dallas and Dallas Park and Recreation to help implement plans for the lake, according to their website.
The Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce aims to promote the cultural, educational and industrial interests of the East Dallas community in order for residents and businesses to prosper, according to the Chamber.
