Old Lake Highlands is hosting two Halloween events to finish off October.
This is a chance for residents to show off their best decorations. On Oct. 27 from 5-6 p.m., the Old Lake Highlands Association will be picking the winner of the contest. They will receive a $50 Home Depot gift card and a yard sign.
2. Halloween Outdoor Movie Night
A family-friendly movie night will take place on Oct. 27 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. following the yard decorating contest in the neighborhood. Bring your own chair or blanket, snacks such as candy, popcorn and water will be provided by the neighborhood association. The winner of the yard decorating  contest will be announced at 6:45 p.m. and the movie will start at 7 p.m.
The association is currently take votes as to which movie should be played. Residents can vote between Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas and Casper on their website.
