The theme this year is ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,’ presented by Reliant. There will be themed pumpkin houses, a hay bale maze and other special events. The event also features 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash as well as 150,000 blooming plants, according to their website. Pumpkins can also be purchased from the patch. According to Fodor’s Travel it is “One of America’s best pumpkin festivals.”

The Peanuts crew, including Snoopy, Woodstock and Pig-pen, will be at the event to greet visitors.

The Arboretum also recently celebrated the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden’s 10th anniversary in September. They are hosting special events to celebrate until September 2024.

Tickets for Autumn at the Arboretum can be bought on their website, ranging from $12-$20.
