Steakyard, described as an “elegant yet casual steakhouse,” is coming soon to our neighborhood.
The restaurant is one of the dining concepts from restaurant owners Evandro Caregnato and wife Dede Mallman. The two also founded DeLucca Guacho Pizza in the Design District.
Not far from the Half Price Books Flagship on Northwest Highway, Steakyard will be located at 6726 Shadybrook Lane.
The restaurant will have an open kitchen, seating for 200 and windows looking out to the patio, according to the Dallas Morning News. There will be meat hanging from hooks and grates over an open flame.
Steakyard also plans to be an affordable steakhouse with steaks starting at $22. Caregnato hopes the restaurant feels more accessible, according to the paper.
Some of the menu items include oysters, steak frites, roasted chicken quarters, lamb, soups, salads, and a selection of wine, beer and cocktails.
Steakyard is expected to open in October 2023.
