Victoria Robb Powers and Cameron Mason Vickrey have released a new children’s book.
Lake Highlands neighbor Victoria Robb Powers and Lake Highlands High School graduate Cameron Mason Vickery will read their new children’s book this week at Interabang Books. My Love, God is Everywhere is a joyful picture book aimed at children ages four to eight.
Powers was named by Advocate Magazines as a “Fierce Female” in 2023 for her work paving the way for women in ministry. She is the first female senior pastor and the first Hispanic senior pastor at Royal Lane Baptist Church. Vickrey is director of communications and development for Fellowship Southwest, a social justice ministry focused on immigration reform and other issues. She is the daughter of George Mason, senior pastor emeritus at Wilshire Baptist Church.
Joanna Carillo created the book’s vibrant illustrations.
My Love, God is Everywhere helps children delight in God’s creation and discover proof of his unconditional love all around them. Whether the day brings them sadness or joy, anxiety or calm, they see proof they are loved unconditionally by a present and good God.
My Love, God is Everywhere was officially released today/Tuesday. Robb Powers and Vickrey will appear at Interabang Books’ Story Time at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow/Wednesday. Interabang is at 5600 Lovers Lane Suite #142.
