Five authors are visiting the Half Price Books Flagship next week to kick off the new month.
There will be a story time and book signing at 3 p.m. with author Kristen Dickson this Sunday. She’ll be reading from her children’s book, Fiona Builds a Fair House. It’s about a girl who believes in fairies and decides to do something about it. RSVPs can be made here.
Historical mystery and thriller author Reavis Z. Wortham will discuss his novel, Hard Country, and hold a book signing at 7 p.m. that Tuesday, Aug. 1. Hard Country is about a narcotics agent uncovering crimes and secrets in his rural town. RSVPs can be made here.
An author duo, Audrey Bellezza and Emily Harding, will discuss and sign copies of their debut romance novel, Emma of 83rd Street. The book is a modern take on Jane Austen’s Emma. The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 3. RSVPs can be made here.
Lastly, young adult author M. R. Fournet will discuss and sign Brick Dust and Bones. The book  is about a young cemetery boy who must race against the clock to save the ghost of his dead mother with the help of his flesh-eating mermaid friend. The event will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. on Aug. 5.
