Birdcall, a casual chicken concept out of Denver, Colorado, could be a few steps closer to opening in the neighborhood.
We first reported on the restaurant in August. The restaurant could be in the space of the old Chase Bank at Audelia and Walnut Hill. On a Facebook post in January of this year announcing the opening of the Carrollton location, BirdCall commented that it looks to open in Lake Highlands in the fall.
Birdcall menu items include chicken tenders and sandwiches, salads, vegetarian choices and more. There’s also a community aspect— they give one percent of proceeds back to the community.
Locations are also slated to open in Frisco and Richardson in the coming months.
