Summer is heating up, and so are those smokers and grills. The King of The Hill BBQ Competition will be held at Flag Pole Hill Park this Saturday, June 10.
This will be the first year of the competition, which includes a music festival and full day of activities. The run of events will be from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
“The idea of King Of The Hill stemmed from the childhood game of being the best,” according to the website.
The categories will be divided into turn-ins for chicken, sauce, steak, ribs and people’s choice. Afterward, awards will be announced. Some of the live music performances include Matt Hillyer and Ryder Grimes.
