Renovations on the beloved Flag Pole Hill Park began earlier this year and continued into the summer. But then there was a pause.
Neighbors have been curious about the progress of the construction on the park and trail. Now, we have an update.
In an email, Mehul Pithadia, the city’s construction inspector overseeing the project, explained a few modifications needed to be made before resuming construction.
This is what he stated in the email:
So far, we have made 50% progress on the project. We had slowed down on the project due to the grading issues in the drawings. We had to adjust the various trail sections according to the existing topography (to the west of the hill) and make it ADA compliant.
