This weekend, the Dallas Arboretum will host a Memorial Day Family Fun Weekend with family-friendly activities and live performances. Admission is included with garden admission or membership.
The weekend will begin on Saturday, May 27 and run through Memorial Day. Tickets purchased to the garden will also include admission to the Children’s Adventure Garden, courtesy of a gift by the William G. Kelley Family.
For younger guests, there will be a petting zoo each day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and story time at 10 and 10:30 a.m. Additionally, there will be a live pianist at Jeanne’s Pavilion from noon to 2 p.m. and a live band at the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn from 2 to 4 p.m.
As part of the Memorial Day celebration, all active military personnel, veterans and first responders will receive complimentary admission free of charge on Monday.
