Do you have a teen who has dreams of being on the stage as summer approaches? Junior Players is calling for current high school students to audition for two different plays.
The auditions, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 20, will be for Playwrights Under Progress (PUP) Fest and Crowns of Power: Henry IV.
PUP Fest is accepting scripts that are 6-10 minutes in length. Annually, six staged readings are featured and later featured in an anthology. Rehearsals will start June 5.
Henry IV, which is based on the Shakespeare classic, will have rehearsals starting June 26.
Callbacks for the roles will be in person from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 27. More details about auditions and requirements can be found here.
The auditions will be held at the Junior Players location at 12225 Greenville Avenue.
