Greenville Avenue restaurant Zaap Kitchen Lao & Thai Street Eats is coming to our neighborhood near Alamo Drafthouse.
Zaap Kitchen is known as a fast-casual spot and specializes in dishes including Tom Kha soup, Laotian fried rice, curries and more. Sticky rice is a national staple in Laos dishes, according to the website.
The restaurant currently has four locations at Greenville Avenue, Casa Linda, Fitzhugh and Westbend. Another location is coming to Willow Bend in Plano.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant shared a preview of the new site’s interior.
The Lake Highlands location will be located at Skillman and Abrams inside the Creekside Shopping Center. No opening date has been announced.
