Santa, known for its timed app-based shopping and colorful delivery trucks, is closing its retail operations after two years.
In a Monday morning email, the company announced its goodbye sale. Between today and tomorrow (right before the big holidays), all sales in the app will be final.
The email read as follows:
It is with a heavy heart that we’ve decided to close Santa’s retail operations. For today and tomorrow only, you can shop our assortment at 50% off. All sales final.
No further details were provided, and a representative has not yet responded to a request for comment.
In June, we wrote about Santa’s business developer Julie Chaump. She’s lived in Lake Highlands with her family for 23 years. At the the time, she provided insight into her role at Santa and what neighborhood shoppers could expect.
