Aaliyah wins!
Lake Highlands sophomore Aaliyah Taylor was named “Miss Texas Basketball Player of the Week” by Dave Campbell’s Texas Basketball after a week of online voting. She competed against some of the state’s most accomplished players.
Taylor scored 34 points against Plano to earn the nomination and will be featured on the magazine’s website along with winners for future weeks. Player of the Year will be named at season’s end.
