Dallas Academy hosted its 14th annual Dawg Run this past Saturday with a variety of contests and activities for families and dogs.
Students and their families brought out their dogs, some in their best costumes, and some came just as is.
The day’s events kicked off with a one-mile fun run and pet walk, which had three student winners. A mad scientist show was set up with experiments, including a DIY lava lamp and elephant toothpaste.
There was a cake walk, outdoor games and a donut eating contest where all six contestants were challenged to finish six donuts each.
The Dawg Run wrapped up with a chili cook-off between eight themed-teams.
