Early voting ended last week, and Dallas County has published some of the data.

Over 391,000 people across Dallas County voted during the early voting period, which was Oct. 24-Nov. 4. There are 1,425,611 registered voters in Dallas County, so about 27% of the eligible voting population voted during early voting.

Compared to early voting in the 2018 general election, this year’s number is down. In 2018, 492,257 people voted early, and there were 1,335,313 registered voters.

There were nine early voting locations in Advocate coverage areas — one in Lake Highlands, two in Preston Hollow, three in East Dallas and three in Oak Cliff.
