More than 20 vendors will be onsite to distribute treats for pets and children. CHEW will be collecting dog and cat food for their pet pantry, with donors receiving baked goods in appreciation.

CHEW, which stands for compassion, hope, education and wellness, is a nonprofit clinic which provides reduced-rate services to qualified families. Lake Highlands veterinarian Molly Deason and her team provide diagnostics, treatment, boarding, spay and neutering, vaccinations, x-rays, labs and ultrasounds.

CHEW’s Doggie Trunk or Treat runs from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 30 in the parking lot of their clinic, 8484 Walnut Hill. All pets must be on a leash.
