Dallas Lutheran is headed to the playoffs
Dallas Lutheran is hosting a 5k run this weekend to raise funds for the school’s rebuilding efforts.
Lions in Lederhosen is open to the public and Dallas Lutheran families. The event includes an in-person and virtual 5k option for those interested in participating on Saturday, Oct. 22.
In addition to the fun run, the theme will celebrate German heritage with fare and festivities to match.
Registration for the virtual 5k is $35, in-person registration is $50. Funds from sales will go toward Dallas Lutheran’s Arise & Build Capital campaign, which is in progress as the school rebuilds following the tornado in 2019.
The school broke ground on the rebuilding project in the spring, nearly three years after the tornado damage. Improvements to the campus include art studios, classrooms, a talent zone, courtyards and more facilities.
