On Friday, the LHHS football team will host Richardson High School at 7 p.m. The Wildcats are third in their division with a 5-2 record, and they are currently riding a three-game winning streak. Last week, the team traveled to MacArthur High School and won 42-7.

The LHHS homecoming dance will be Saturday night from 9 p.m. to midnight. Tickets will be sold for $15 at school from Tuesday through Friday, or for $20 at the door on Saturday.

Besides the game and the dance, the annual Varsity Revue will be on Thursday night at 7 p.m. Varsity Revue is a variety show the school has produced for decades, and this year’s student-performers include vocalists, breakdancers, instrumentalists and various student groups, including the cheer squad and the band.

Varsity Revue ticket sales benefit the LHHS band and can be purchased here. The band is also selling mums, and those who ordered them can pick them up on Tuesday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the LHHS HUB.

There will also be themed dress-up days at school this week. On Tuesday, the theme is “PJs vs. Professionals,” and students can choose to dress in pajamas or business attire. On Wednesday, the theme is “Heroes vs. Villains.” Thursday’s theme is “Old School vs. New School,” and on Friday, students are encouraged to wear their “Dynamic Duo” homecoming-themed t-shirts.
