Summer is over, which is all the more reason to hang out in the great outdoors with Lake Highlands Public Improvement District (even if it is only a few degrees cooler).
There are two free events they have coming up, including one that happens this weekend.
This Sunday, Oct. 2, is part of the Sundays in the Park music series at Watercrest Park at Lake Highlands Town Center. From 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., The Michael Walker Project will provide tunes, Tiff’s Treats will be available and there will be a games and a bounce house for the kids.
Then on Oct. 16, there’s a ‘Minions’ movie night with the Dallas Police Department. On the playground of Forest Lane Academy, starting at 5 p.m., Minions: The Rise of Gru will be streamed. Treats, including popcorn, candy, cotton candy, Tiff’s Treats and ice cream will be available for those in attendance.
