Tickets to tonight’s Wildcat football game against Highland Park have been selling like hotcakes this week, and Bryn Volkmer, executive assistant to the Wildcat athletics department, says she’ll sell the 100-or-so remaining seats today in the school foyer. Sales begin at 11 a.m. and run until all seats in the visitor section at Highlander Stadium are spoken for.

Fans marked their calendar for this match up when HP bumped up to 6A and reunited with LH in district play for the first time since 2015. Interest reached a fever pitch, though, when HP alum and L.A. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford announced he’ll attend the game to see his number retired during half time. NBC DFW’s Pat Doney and his crew will be on hand after naming it “Big Game of the Week.”

If you plan to buy tickets today, bring $6 cash for adult seats and $3 for students. You’ll need an I.D. to prove you live in Lake Highlands. Go Cats!
