Richardson ISD trustees are expected to name a lone finalist for superintendent during this afternoon’s public meeting. Former deputy superintendent Tabitha Branum has served as interim superintendent since December, when the board accepted the resignation of Dr. Jeannie Stone.

The district hired O’Hanlon, Demerath & Castillo to assist with their executive search, and the official application period opened June 1. Branum has said she’d be seeking the position on a permanent basis.
