Dallas Symphony Orchestra will host four free concerts in local parks to kick off summer in the city.

The first concert of the series will happen at Flag Pole Hill Park on May 30 for Memorial Day and starts at 8:15 p.m. Maurice Cohn is conductor and Albion Josiah is vocalist for the concerts.

The orchestra will perform patriotic classics, such as “The Star Spangled Banner,”  “America the Beautiful,” “Stars and Stripes Forever March,” and more. The Jurassic Park theme is even on the program.

Symphony in the City at Flag Pole Hill is free and open to the public. Flag Pole Hill is located at 8015 Doran Circle.
