This weekend, neighbors can look forward to antique and thrift finds, adult prom and two community park events.
It’s prom season, so Vector Brewing is bringing some nostalgia to the adults who want to relive prom night. There are no tickets and the event is Saturday, Apr. 30, at 7 p.m.
Flea Market at City View Antique Mall
As part of its annual spring sale, City View Antique Mall will have a one-day flea market. It happens on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the back lot of City View Antique Mall.
Park cleanup at Watercrest Park
Friends of Lake Highlands Trail and neighbor Brian Hasenbauer will lead a park cleanup at Watercrest Park this Saturday. It starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until noon. The group will meet at the park amphitheater.
Friendship Circle of Dallas is hosting the Walk 4 Friendship carnival and walk at Flagpole Hill Park this Sunday, May 1. The event is meant to promote inclusion for people with and without disabilities and will use proceeds for Friendship Circle’s programs helping youth and adults.
