Orr-Reed artisan fair

Looking to restock on artisan goods and shop small? Orr-Reed, the architectural materials salvage yard, will have a spring artisan fair on Apr. 2 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on site.
There will be more than 50 vendors from small business across Texas with soaps, jewelry, jams and more. The fair is meant to highlight and support smaller businesses that have struggled since the start of the pandemic.
Orr-Reed is owned by Lake Highlands neighbor Hannah Hargrove. She has shifted the  business more toward selling wood flooring and vintage antique items.
“Our hope is helping the little guys gain exposure and grow. We charged far below what booth fees typically are in the area because we didn’t want anyone to not participate because they couldn’t afford it,” Hargrove said in an email.
