COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Dallas, especially with the growing number of new variants, like Omicron. Even during Christmas Eve and Christmas, lines for tests stretched out from drive-thrus and wait times exceeded an hour.
Following the holidays with family, there might be apprehension that you’ve come down with something. We know the symptoms of COVID-19 by now, but if not, here’s a refresher. If you or someone you know have symptoms or just want to get tested to be on the side of caution, here are some testing sites in the area.
Lake Highlands has several testing sites that are primarily at CVS and Walgreens pharmacies. Dallas College’s Richland campus also has drive-thru testing available 7:30 a.m.- 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The Richland campus is located at 12800 Abrams Rd.
