In April, Richardson began looking into the steps needed to make her Shout It Dallas real since she books marquee letters regularly for her clients.

“I book them often for private social and corporate events and there’s not many companies who offer them,” Richardson says.

Her boyfriend and business partner Chase Heckendorn was on board with her idea to rent marquee letters out to clients, so Shout It Dallas was born. After months of back and forth with a manufacturer and making sure the letters were modern and fit the specifications they were looking for, the business was ready for launch.

“After many months of back and forth, language barriers, and logistical delays we finally got our letters in and booked 2 events the first weekend,” Richardson says. “It was so exciting to see it all come together.”
One thing Shout It doesn’t do are marquee numbers because they believe letters send more of an impact.
Shout It will host a holiday drive and launch event at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17 at 9938 Ridgehaven Dr. Donations will go toward Austin Street Center.

Richardson lives with her two sons, Briggs and Gus, Heckendorn and his son, Hudson in Lake Highlands.
