Put away your charge card. Market in the Meadow has been canceled once again.
Forest Meadow Junior High PTA volunteers had high hopes for this year’s event after the pandemic nixed the 2020 fundraiser, and they sent out a summer all-call to recruit vendors from across the state. Then COVID came roaring back. Richardson ISD officials are working to protect district schoolchildren by keeping outside visitors to a minimum.
Dee Ann Baggett, Market in the Meadow chairman, says teachers, students and programs at the school rely on the funds raised each year. If you’d like to help, you may donate online here.
