A deadly hit and run took place earlier this week along Park Lane, just north of Northwest Highway in the Lake Highlands area.
A witness saw a male victim trip and fall to the ground of a parking lot on the 8500 block of Park Lane on the evening of Aug. 10. He was struck by a suspect’s vehicle while he was still on the ground, Dallas PD shared of the witness account.
The suspect fled and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
An investigation into the hit and run is still ongoing.
