Dallas police will host a crime meeting tonight
The Dallas Police Department will host a “Discussion on Crime” tonight/Monday in Hamilton Park. The community meeting follows the July 4 shooting near Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet elementary school, where hundreds of residents attended a block party to celebrate the holiday. Five people were hospitalized for gun shot wounds, and three of them died.
The 6 p.m. meeting will be held at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church, 11881 Schroeder Road. Officer Bervin Smith can answer questions at 214-202-6255.
