Three people died and two others were wounded after a shooting at a block party near Hamilton Park on the Fourth of July, authorities said.
Police responded to an active shooter call just before 11:15 p.m. at 8300 Towns Street.
Five victims were taken to the hospital, where three men died from their injuries.
Hundreds attended the party, and residents say it is an unofficial annual gathering, reported WFAA.
Police did not give a motive to the shooting, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
