Reports of a “shooting” turned out to be wrong.

Eventually, Dallas police reported that the gunshot sounds were caused by a mentally unstable person banging a skateboard on the floor somewhere near the mall’s food court, the Dallas Morning News reports. The unidentified person also made “hand gestures mimicking” a gun toward mall patrons, the News reported.

The individual was taken to a hospital for evaluation, police told the News. No other injuries were reported, and many streamed back into the mall once the situation ended.
