The Dallas Police Department’s northeast division had to postpone a neighborhood “Meet and Greet” with their new command staff due to rain, but the weather should be perfect at Thursday’s rescheduled event at Flag Pole Hill. The entire community is invited.
Officer Bervin Smith, DPD’s party planner extraordinaire, says sliced brisket is on the menu, along with hot dogs, sandwiches, ice cream and mini-Bundt cakes. Citizens are encouraged to ask questions about public safety and share specific concerns about Lake Highlands neighborhoods.
The meet and greet runs from 5:30 to 7, and RSVP to Bervin.Smith@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us is requested.
