The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands presented 42 college scholarships to graduating seniors from Lake Highlands High School this morning. It’s a wonder any of the students had the strength to attend the breakfast celebration with their proud parents. Each had a long list of accomplishments in the fields of athletics, academics, music and/or dance, and many work after school jobs and do extensive volunteer work to strengthen our community.

“We look forward to seeing and hearing the great things you do in the future. You are off to a great start,” said Exchange Club President Chris Brown. “Somehow you’ve managed to find extra time in the day or do things at light speed, because I don’t know how you get it all done. Folks like me with graying hair should be on the lookout for you guys as you enter the workforce and take over the world.”
