Several neighborhood groups rallied support to feed families affected by the recent Forest Cove Apartments fire.
On March 29, over 100 firefighters battled a five-alarm apartment fire at the Forest Cove Apartments that destroyed 52 units.
Since then, DPD’s Northeast Division, Hamilton Park United Methodist Church and the Lake Highlands Public Improvement District have come together to provide meals and $50 gift cards to Forest Cove residents. The meals and gift cards were delivered yesterday.
