Richardson ISD’s current mask requirements and COVID-19 protocols will continue as the district seeks guidance from health authorities and the Texas Education Agency.
This is in light of Gov. Greg Abbott lifting Texas’ mask mandate effective March 10.
“RISD is seeking updated health authority guidance on the topic of mask usage for students and staff during the school day as a COVID mitigation strategy,” the district said in a statement to parents today.
