The one-day giving event will benefit the Dallas Y’s ongoing COVID response effort known as the Catalyst Initiative, the elimination of childhood drowning, the Y Summer Learning Academies, camps, healthy living, preschool, STEM, youth sports, youth and government.
Neighbors can visit the Lake Highlands YMCA on 8920 Stults Road tomorrow, March 2 to learn more, participate in branch activities and donate in-person.
“The YMCA Day of Giving is a great way to rally behind the important work being done on a daily basis at the YMCA’s throughout North Texas,” said Curt Hazelbaker, President and CEO of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas in a release. “The Dallas community always steps up when there is a need and we are hopeful for a big response this year. All funds that are raised on the Day of Giving allows the YMCA to serve tens of thousands of people in our community.”
