The Dallas Police Department found the body of an unknown female floating in a creek behind a DART station last week.
The police were dispatched at about 4:45 p.m. on Jan. 21 to the creek, located behind the DART rail station at 8210 Forest Lane. When they arrived, they found the body floating face down in the water.
Dallas Fire-Rescue retrieved the body from the creek. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office also responded. An unexplained death has been created on case number 012469-2021.
The victim’s name will be released when the body has been identified and next of kin have been informed.
