Richardson ISD is evaluating new information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and plans to update on how these measures would apply to current district protocols.
Earlier in the week, the CDC provided public health agencies two additional options to reduce the length of the 14-day quarantine in some situations.
Based on local availability of viral testing, people without symptoms can end quarantine on:
- day 10 without testing;
- day 7 after receiving a negative test result
However, until RISD evaluates these options, the district’s current quarantine process remains unchanged.
