For the first time in 25 years, Lake Highlands High School has finished the season undefeated with a 10-0 record to claim the district championship. The Wildcats trounced Irving Monday night 49-0 to earn their 400th win in program history.

As the Division I (big school) winner of 7-6A, the Cats will face South Grand Prairie (3-2, 5-2), runners-up in 8-6A. That game is expected to be played the weekend of Dec. 11. Go Cats!
