The City of Dallas seeks community input as the search for a new Dallas police chief begins.
The city is asking the community to fill out a survey, which is available in English and Spanish, on leadership qualities, departmental priorities and professional qualifications for the next police chief.
This comes after Dallas Police Chief U. Reneé Hall resigned in September. Hall will continue as chief through the end of 2020.
The English survey can be reached here. The Spanish survey can be reached here.
Community members can also provide feedback over the phone by calling 214-671-5190.
The survey closes on Dec. 1.
