Tonight/Thursday is opening night for NTPA Dallas’ Frozen JR, with each young actor wearing a mask and all performances broadcast digitally for safety. Tickets may be purchased online, but NTPA is encouraging only family and friends of the actors to attend in person.

Several Lake Highlands-area students get top billing in the show, including West Junior High’s Grace Hennington (Anna), WJH’s Taylor Brooks (Anna), Wallace Elementary’s Ellie Simpson (Young Anna), LHJH’s Caroline Fritsche (Olaf), White Rock Elementary’s Luke Fritsche (Hans), Merriman Park’s Annabelle Greenberg (Sven), Wallace’s Ainsley Shopoff (Ensemble), WRE’s Will Fritsche (Ensemble), MPE’s Sutton Moss (Ensemble) and LHE’s Greyson Brooks (Ensemble).

Frozen JR. is adapted from Disney’s modern classic and the 2018 Broadway musical and brings the magical land of Arendelle to life. The show features memorable songs from the animated film, and shares the story of love and acceptance between Princesses Anna and Elsa.

Performances run from Thursday to Sunday and include matinee and evening performances. Virtual and in-person tickets may be purchased online.
