Lake Highlands High School Principal Kerri Jones shared a video sneak peek at renovations and additions to campus Sunday. The photos show the new connector building, almost complete between LHHS and the building formerly known as the Freshman Center. In addition to state-of-the-art classrooms, a new “Hub” will house the students’ unified lunch space – more like a modern college campus or mall food court than cafeteria.
“The building will be open, shiny clean and ready, on Sept. 21 for our students,” Richardson ISD School Board President Karen Clardy shared on social media. “I can’t wait! The completion of all the renovations will be by Dec. 2020, which is right on target.”
