‘Take a Swing at Hunger’ is canceled this year, but you can still donate to Feed Lake Highlands

Feed Lake Highlands‘ annual “Take a Swing at Hunger” event at TopGolf is postponed due to COVID-19.

“Unfortunately, as has happened to so many of our other traditional activities, that pesky COVID-19 virus has gotten in the way,” Feed Lake Highlands announced. “So, we made the painful decision and postponed our 6th annual TopGolf tournament until a later date.”

But neighbors can still compete as part of North Texas Giving Day on Sept. 17. Neighbors can gather a team and contribute to North Texas Giving Day with FLH as the recipient.

The team with the most donations will win a round of golf for four at the Dallas Athletic Club. It features two Jack Nicklaus 18-hole courses, a package with a value of $500.
