The Hall of Fame snubbed Pearson when he was among 25 senior finalists for the expanded 2020 “Centennial Class.”

Pearson was devastated when he wasn’t called on the nationally televised reveal show in January.

“They broke my heart,” Pearson told KTVT.

But before Drew Pearson became one of the greatest Dallas Cowboys players of all time, he was a Lake Highlands neighbor. A Dallas Cowboys Weekly publication featured him in his home before he moved to Meadowhill Drive.

Neighbors remember Pearson and his wife supporting fundraisers, driving a Rolls Royce and being friendly to the local delivery boy.
