White Rock North School is offering “catch up clinics” this summer to help students affected when coronavirus shut down schools. The one-week clinics feature state-certified teachers specialized in reading, language arts and math and are offered throughout June and July beginning June 15.
“So many kids are behind now because of the quarantine,” said White Rock North School owner Amy Adams. “We can help.”
The academic refresher is for students entering grades 1-7, and each class will hold a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 kids. Classes will run 9-11 a.m. Monday through Friday, and tuition is $150 per week for WRNS students and $200 per week for non-WRNS students.
