Treat mom to these Mother’s Day takeout meals in Lake Highlands

Don’t make your mom cook on Mother’s Day. Instead, treat her to a special takeout meal from one of these East Dallas restaurants.

ONE 90 SMOKED MEATS is offering a special family spread for Mother’s Day. It includes smoked salmon salad, smoked chicken, roasted potatoes, smoked cauliflower and baked dinner rolls. For dessert, enjoy a 4-inch chocolate cake, plus a beautiful floral arrangement. The package is $140 and feeds four to six people. Orders must be placed by May 7 and picked up May 10.
LOCHLAND’S is offering a take-and-bake shepherd’s pie with a choice of a salad or jalapeño-avocado soup for $60. You can also order a vegan version, or add cocktails, craft beers and wines by the bottle.
MOMO ITALIAN KITCHEN is offering a Mother’s Day dinner which feeds 6 to 8 people; a bottle of wine, an Italian salad, pancetta-wrapped meatloaf or lasagna, sides and classic tiramisu. Order must be placed by May 8.
VECTOR BREWING is offering wine by the bottle between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are serving the “Happy Mom” which includes a signatures Sugies dessert with a special chocolate dip, a bottle of bubbly and orange juice.
CEDAR & VINE is offering Mother’s Day brunch preorder. The brunch includes a casserole Lorraine, assorted pastries, house salad and fresh fruit. It’s $45 and feeds four to six people.
