It’s that wonderful time of year… no not Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day! An excuse to wear all of your green clothing, make up, face paint, whatever. So who’s ready to drink green beer and celebrate the foremost patron saint of Ireland. Here’s what to do:

The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is held on Greenville Avenue each year. Starting at 10 a.m., expect lots of people, green beer and bagpipes. More info here.

Also starting at 10 a.m. is the St. Paddy Day Shenanigans at Yogi’s Home Plate. This includes $4 Guinness cans, $4 Jameson shots, $4 baby Guinness shots, $2 jello shots, $12 corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes. Live music will also play at 1 and 6 p.m. More info here.

After the parade, you can head to Lochland’s Food and Spirits for a joint event with DFW Dawgs. Join the Dallas – Fort Worth Chapter  to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. More info here.

Later that night, head to Lone Star RoadHouse for a St. Patrick’s Day dance party. “We’ll play the greatest Irish dance hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s by artists like The O’Beatles, O’tis Redding, The O’Doobie Brothers, the O’Commodores and Roy O’rbison with the downbeat at 8:00.” More info here.
